Dr. Ravina Kullar is a pioneer in finding solutions to antibiotic resistance – one of the greatest threats to global health. An infectious diseases global expert, pharmacist and epidemiologist, she has published over 30 research papers and has been invited to participate in the worldwide effort to help tackle this global threat. She is a 3-time invited TED speaker, with her most recent talk being in London in March 2019 –her topics have all focused on the solutions of slowing the development of antibiotic resistance. Dr. Kullar also serves as a consultant to the World Health Organization (WHO), and was invited in May 2019 to serve as a speaker at the World Health Assembly. She has been featured on the TV educational show “The Doctors”, educating the public about this public health treat. Her passion for this work stems from personal experiences with patients in her care with infections resistant to almost every antibiotic. These patients should have survived. Dr. Kullar wants to empower everyone in the world to be a part of the solution, by arming them with the information they need to take action.
