UK Sepsis Summit Poster Competition

We are pleased to announce a call for abstracts for the UK Sepsis Summit, taking place 5-6th September, at Nottingham University.

We welcome abstract submissions relating to blood stream infections including previously presented work (within the last 2 years).

Some suggested topics are below:

Diagnostic Intervention

Audit Data

Cost Analysis

Pre-analytical Improvements

Patient Pathway Optimisation

 

Abstract guidance

Abstracts must be a maximum of 250 words and should state the purpose, methods, results and conclusions of the work.

Aims and/or Background: Clearly state the purpose of the abstract.

Methods: Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects clearly.

Results: Present your results in a logical sequence in text, tables and illustrations (as appropriate).

Discussion

Conclusion: Clearly state the conclusion of your study.

Abstract submissions are now open and will close on Friday 11th August 2023.

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 18th August 2023.

 

Poster dimensions

We welcome previously presented work and you are welcome to re-use an existing poster to avoid the need to re-print.

We do not recommend smaller than A2.
