When patients present with critical bloodstream infections, the BIOFIRE BCID2 Panel helps you minimize the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics by detecting pathogens and resistance genes with speed and accuracy. The BIOFIRE BCID2 Panel tests for 43 bloodstream targets and returns results in about 1 hour, allowing you to provide optimal therapy by helping you de-escalate or avoid unnecessary antibiotics.
